Graduate Employment Support

In order to promote the employment of graduates, meetings are held annually with successful alumni and highly qualified healthcare professionals on topics such as “My Profession Is My Pride,” “The Profession I Chose,” “The Right Step in Choosing a Profession,” “And You Are a Brick of This World…,” “Where There Is Honesty, There Is Humanity,” and “Choosing a Profession Is the Right Foundation for Your Life.” In addition, open dialogue platforms are organized on the topic “A Qualified Specialist Is the Support of the State with a Great Future.” Such events contribute to increasing students’ professional motivation and fostering a sustainable interest in their chosen profession.

Every year, the college, in cooperation with medical organizations of the city of Taraz and the Zhambyl Region, organizes a job fair. During these events, employers inform graduates about available vacancies and conduct on-site interviews.

To create conditions for graduates to continue their education at higher education institutions, Open Days titled “Education and the Future” are organized, within the framework of which meetings with representatives of universities are held. In addition, throughout the year, college graduates regularly participate in job fairs organized by the Youth Resource Center of the Akimat of the city of Taraz. As part of the “Youth Practice” program, meetings with specialists are also held on a planned basis.

Based on the results of professional practice, heads of medical organizations provide positive feedback on students’ knowledge and practical skills and submit proposals for their employment. As a result, the graduate employment rate traditionally ranges from 80% to 90%. According to data for the past three years:

  • 2023 — 85%,
  • 2024 — 87%,
  • 2025 — 87%.

Career Guidance Activities

The correct choice of a future profession is the first and most important step in an individual’s professional development. In this regard, the college systematically carries out career guidance activities among students of general education schools. Based on cooperation agreements, college instructors hold meetings with graduating classes of schools in the city of Taraz and the Zhambyl Region, explaining the specifics and responsibilities of the medical profession. Career guidance work also includes participation in parent meetings and individual consultations with students.

During these activities, school students are taught first aid skills for emergency situations, and practical demonstrations are conducted on topics such as “First Aid for Injuries” and “Emergency Care in Case of Sudden Cardiac Arrest.”

Every year, Open Days titled “The Right Step in Choosing a Profession” are held, and within the framework of the “JuniorSkills Jambyl” championship, participants in the competencies “Chemistry” and “Biology” are introduced to the college’s classrooms and specialties.

School students are provided with information about the history of the college, admission rules, and educational programs; video presentations are shown, and informational brochures are distributed. Within one academic year, approximately 3,000 students are covered by career guidance activities.

In the regional video competition “Best Career Guidance Specialist,” organized by the Education Department of the Akimat of the Zhambyl Region, college instructors won second place in 2025.
