On May 12, 2021, with the support of the Zhambyl Higher Medical College, the Health Department of the Akimat of the Zhambyl Region, the National Association “Primary Health Care” and the Zhambyl Regional Branch of the Regional Public Organization of the Industry Trade Union of Healthcare Workers “SENIM” sisters on the topic: “Innovations and prospects for the development of nursing in Kazakhstan on the example of the Zhambyl region.”

The purpose of the forum: strengthening the importance and potential of nurses, introducing and implementing a new model of nursing, developing a system for training nursing specialists in the Zhambyl region, as well as exchanging experience with international partners.

Invited guests: Johanna Heikkil, PhD (Finland), Senior Advisor at the JAMK University of Applied Sciences, President of the Russian Nurses Association Valentina Sarkisova. At the end of the forum in honor of May 12 of the International “Day of Nurses”, the best nurses of the Zhambyl region were awarded, they were presented with Zhan Akzhanov’s books “NURSE” and bouquets of flowers. The festive performance of the activists of the Zhambyl Higher Medical College gave the guests a good mood.
