03.04.2019 in Zhambyl medical College in coordination with the Union of medical colleges of Kazakhstan and approval of the educational and methodological Association of the specialty “pharmacy”, the Republican contest “Best pharmacist-2019″was held.
Competition Aims:
- Evaluation of the quality of professional training of graduates of medical colleges in the specialty “Pharmacy.”
- Increase the level of quality vocational education for students to ensure high competitiveness in the labour market.
- Combining the work of medical colleges and pharmaceutical organizations in the training of specialists.
Stages of the competition:
Stage I – assessment of theoretical knowledge-testing
Stage II – assessment of practical knowledge
1 task ” Notabene!”The contestants completed situational tasks in the discipline” organization and Economics of pharmacy with the basics of marketing and management”.
2 task- “Medicinal plants mentioned in ancient legends and stories”. Contestants determine the medicinal plant, and voice their names in Russian, Kazakh and Latin. According to these samples of medicinal plant raw materials, the used medicinal plant raw materials and methods of its application are found and indicated.
Task 3 – “Pharmacology is very important”. Matching task. The contestants will determine whether the drug they selected corresponds to its pharmacological group, trade name, and usage indicator.
4 tasks “work of the prescription and production Department”. The contestants prepared solid and liquid dosage forms based on prescription records.
